The download speed on the launcher seems to be about 3mb per/s and it's taken about 10 minutes to download 4mbs out of a 300 mb download. This is far too slow.

I wanted to download the ftb launcher and the download speed was like 2kbps! i went ahead and downloaded the launcher from an alternative source.

From clicking on the jar to seeing the actual launcher (I see the FTB logo with a stuck progress bar) is like 5+ minutes.
